The offer is good, we really should find a middle ground, but for me now, as I think for the vast majority of those reading this, the figure of 15,000 $SOFT or 100,000 $SOFT is equally unattainable. After all, tokens were only available through an airdrop much less than 15,000 tokens.
Correct me if I’m wrong, the average drop is 1500-1800 $SOFT, which means that in order to create a vote, we need to find leaders among us and delegate our tokens to them.
So, at the threshold of 15,000 $SOFT, about 10 people need to be united. Quite real, right?
If you study SoftDAO Delegates on the tally.xyz platform, now we have only one such leader from the entire community: komarick.eth and he really deserves our trust, but I think this is not enough and I am sure that there are other worthy ones among us

I think this threshold is quite reasonable, since you can delegate your tokens to the opinion leader and he will vote as it should.

The current threshold of 100k $SOFT is really high, while the proposed threshold of 15k $SOFT is too low.
We need to remember the power of the 2x voting multiplier.
So here’s what I suggest we do:
. For the first stage, let’s lower the threshold to 20k-30k.
. Let’s put a time limit on the first stage.
. We’ll analyze the activity and quality of proposals during the first stage.
. Once the first stage is over, we’ll revisit the threshold value.

At this stage of the project’s development, $ 15,000 is also a very large amount, but in the future, after receiving awards for “zealy” and presale, this amount will be quite adequate.

I support that lowering the threshold will have a positive impact on the activities of the DAO. It might be worth considering a threshold of 10,000. Many active participants who actively participate in the DAO cannot retain their vote due to the high threshold and have to delegate.

Why - do you have to introduce some kind of threshold? Maybe there is some other way to deal with spammers?

In general I agree, it’s not only owners of a large number to make suggestions…! If a person with a small number - it does not mean that his proposal is bad!

I believe this point is significant, and I am wondering if we could establish a vote threshold mechanism that is lower before there is any liquidity or price activity in order to ensure wider distribution.
This approach would allow community members to express their opinions while maintaining the integrity of the votes and preventing spam at a later date when the price of $SOFT may be perceived as either low or high depending on its future performance. Perhaps we could consider implementing a mechanism similar to the BTC price lock used in vesting contracts. Alternatively, we could establish pre-determined thresholds after a period of time has elapsed since the token began trading, or we could base it on the number of token holders, or even a combination of both to prevent manipulation.
