Now, with the recent updates, this proposal gives prizes to the top 100 for past activities. AND the top 100 for engagement/activity WITHIN each future month’s sprint.
So, you could be in dead last right now… but then be in the top 100 for March’s sprint and receive a prize.
In other words, the leaderboard displays all-time rankings. Monthly sprint rankings are based only on the activity occurring in that month.

In my opinion the awards should go to the top 100 (but the top 10 should have bigger awards), but the ranking should be based on the amount of experience gained per month and not all time, this will allow new users to be able to participate as well.

Inventing rules after the fact is not very correct. To award the top 10 participants in such a big project is just ridiculous. In my opinion, there should be a top 500 with a differentiated distribution of rewards and the best reward is project tokens.
